I downloaded the patch, unzipped it and tried to install. I get an error message that says a required dll is missing....mss32.dll
Any suggestions? I'm stuck in the underground toad tunnels, with 2 very chatty toad villagers in my way. Can't push 'em, can't dismiss 'em...urgh! I've read that the patch is supposed to help with this issue. Thanks! Tree ------------------ Hey, dragons aren't that tough, I'm a MOM! LOL |

The patch may not fix your toad problems (sorry) BUT there is a solution. You need to take the two chatty toads out in ONE blow (one good area spell that will kill them instantly) when no other toads are watching. SAVE YOUR GAME, before you try this. If you manage to take them out quickly - you will then be able to continue through Toad Village. Now - as for the patch installation error - where you installing the patch just to solve this particular problem?? Were you experiencing other problems in the game that made you also want to install the patch? If you were only trying to solve this problem - forget the patch. If you need it to solve more problems - repost your question into Saz's Techie Help Desk thread and I'm sure someone will come up with an answer! Wyv |

Hmmm...good questions. I guess I was installing the patch to fix the toad problem, not for any other reason at this point.
As for area spells, I have fire storm and metor storm (I think that's what they're called.....I'm really a BG 1&2 player, experiencing this type of game for the first time.) Do you think either of those will reward me with fro..er toad legs for dinner? |
