Hey Ladie Jas! I know the Black Dragon is very tough. He casts Miscast Magic at everyone, and stuff like that. You have to be quick with your spells (Lower Resistance, Magic Missile, Cloudkill). Eventually you can send in some strong fighters like Minsc and Keldorn to kill the beast. Should work this way.
