Scotch and water is highly recommended for the serious drinker. That way you know what's coming.

Wow, what spamming... er, i mean, "posting." Personally, I dont drink, but I was seriously thinking about it, early today. Anyways, things are better, now, but I'm still worried about my friend, Mike. Anyways, skipped my orientation class, today, I figure I'm oriented enough, now! How is everyone? Sober?

I went to Bible study & then went out to the bars -- and met a couple people from the study later tonight out in town

So no excuses, Dron_Cah!

Hmmm. One of my buddies held a going-away party on Saturday (he's going to travel India with his g/f for a few months). I skipped the water part of the whole Scotch-and-water thing.

Light Bulb

Well, the water part is pretty much optional. I do insist on some rocks, however.

:sigh: My best friend AT UK drinks...My girlfriend drinks. Everyone I talk to seems to drink. And for some reason, they think it's odd when I say that I just don't want to drink. I don't want to get drunk, high, or stoned.

Oh well. I suppose I shouldn't be bitter because it's destroying my culture.

I need a new alarm-clock...I keep forgetting to set it, and today, I missed Calc II recitation, which I needed badly to attend so that I can stay abreast of the whole Calc II thing...

One can drink without becoming stupid drunk, Ilander, just like one can smoke without ending up stoned on the floor.

They're a pair of sociable, sensual pleasures that I never appreciated fully until college (until now I'd always been perfectly happy to pass out drunk/stoned/both on the nearest floor).

Moderation is the key to most things that have their vices, except music, IMO.
