hey!

i'm posting this message on this forum as well as on the other forums concerned. i loved bg2 and iwd1. will start iwd2 shortly. i've also tried my hand at bg1 but that will have to wait. are there any other games similar to the ones mentioned above that i can consider to purchase. i hear nwn needs quite a bit of ram compared to bg and the like. is this true or can i consider it too? apart from how and totlm, what are the other good expansions. What about totsc?

thanks.

tosc is the expansion for bg1. also, if you get the tutu mod, it updates bg1 so that it looks like bg2, including the different class kits. oh, and speaking of expansions, did you play bg2 with tob?
personally, i found iwd2 disappointing. but maybe that's because i really loved iwd.

for something new-ish, try arcanum. it's goooood.

ooooh!

i'm about to try iwd2 soon. i think that the complexity adds value to the game. my only complaint regarding the iwd games are that they are more or less linear and it is quite diificult to get a vast difference between any 2 runs thru it.

i've heard about arcanum too but quite vagely. could you please elaborate on it?

thanks a lot!
