Slight problem, ahem...

I've to face Kangaxx next and I don't have a scroll of protection from magic...Where do I get one from?? My strategy was to use sunray and then send in Jaheira protected by the scroll to finish him... any other strategy suggestions??

???

You could hideously abuse the reload-by-placing-in-container-bug and kill him with the Ring of the Ram. That's what I did.

I don't know about the scroll.

Seems like I remember someone saying you could polymorph yourself, or a member of your party, to jelly form. Jellies are supposed to have a high magic resistance. So send in the jelly and let Kangaxx waste his spells on the resistant jelly. Once he's used up his high level spells, then send in the tanks.

The Adventur Mart is teh only place that has Protection from Magic Scrolls...and there are only two of them.

Protection form Undead works better and there are more than enough to go around

Not true.. I seem to recall there being four or five scrolls floating out there.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Spell Immunity! Have a mage cast it, select Abjuration, head on front, and that should take care of your problem. Just make sure they can also survive death-related spells as well.

IronDragon is correct. In a default installation, there are only two scrolls of Protection from Magic. Both are sold at the Adventurer's Mart.

That said, people need to be clearer about whether they are applying their tactics to the first form, or the FINAL form.

Aren't those in Beserker rage also immune to imprisionment? Although I'm not sure if that applies to Minsc's ability.

I was talking about first form for Kangaxx. Seems to me the second form is fairly easy to beat,,,,if you can survive the first round!
