Death magnetic...
Perhaps not the coolest name, but the new Metallica album is officially debuting tomorrow. To say I'm excited would be putting it very tamely, indeed! Sadly, I take the MCAT again, tomorrow, so i won't be lining up to be the first to get a copy. I have gotten to listen to the entire album at metallica.com, though! Woot!!! This truly is a return to the thrash scene for Metallica.
So, what do you guys think? Who's excited? Who's already too far gone from the halls of Metallica to care? |

Got it today...and I'm listening to the first track right now.
It feels like...Metallica. That Was Just Your Life, which is the first track (and what I'm listening to) feels kind of like a hybrid of their earlier work...and I feel like there are elements of Master of Puppets, The Black Album, Load, and Saint Anger all mixed together. I won't be too much of a music critic, though, because I know I am biased. Regardless, it seems to hit the spot for me.
