I'm playing as a Dwarf Fighter right now, and I was wondering what a good choice for an epic level would be. I noticed the Dwarven Defender, and was wondering how good/useful it is to use. Thanks

Dwarven Defender is a good choice if you want to soak up damamge via damamge reduction. YOu could also go the weapon master route for a high AB and a weapon of choice.

Champion of Torm gives you access to some nice saving throws if you have a good Charisma score as well.

They are some of the choices that you have.

What is a high AB? Also, do the Dwarven Defender's get any sort of attack bonus, or is it just damage reduction?

I think that the Dwarven Defender has the Defensive stance which adds stat bonuses to strength and constitution, some bonuses to saving throws and also a dodge bonus.

Other bonuses include Defensive Awareness = AC bonus stays the same even when moving around in combat, and also not being able to be flanked.

And lastly damage reduction as T-D-C previously said. At level 10 you get a 6 point reduction from each hit.

Just remember that you need a dexterity of 13 to get Dodge; a perequisite for the Prestige Class.

AB is Attack Base. This is your base chance to hit an opposing creature, before bonuses. Dwarven Defenders are pretty tough, and do make excellent tanks, front line fighters. I'm working on one myself, and so far, I like the results.

im dooing one dwarven defender and weapon master...he is a wall! Hes making criticals like mad och barely takes damage!
He single-handedly stood against a certain invasion in the second expansion, no one even got through to the city!

That is quite a feat.
