I just had the most annoying thing happen to me. I`m in the windspear hills
right and uh....oh hang on this might qualify as a spoiler so... > > > > > > > > > > > > There that should do it. Anyways I just released that guys daughter illia or something and killed firgaag. But as soon as I leave the dungeon, the game won`t let me save. It says you can not save during combat, and theres no obvious way out. Ive tried quicksave and tried resting, so could someone help me please. I only saved before i killed the dragon so i would need to restart the whole game if nobody can help. Please take pity. |

Don't worry. Sometimes the game hangs like that. It's always corrected itself for me. It should let you save sometime soon...

I got this too:
. . . . Alternatively, leave the level. It Auto-saves and when you come back you can save normally ------------------ In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is pimp |

Unfortunately i tried this, right now i`m in the temple district, with minsc and jaheira dead, and two others including me level drained.
When i left the dungeon part there was a shaman guy begging for mercy, should i have killed him instead of letting him go? |

angelus!
i feel for you. that happened to me first time through and made me nuts. i ended up having to leave the map completely. then i reloaded the auto save. had no problem after that. it's an awful feeling, isn't it? i just knew something awful was gonna happen and i would have to fight that dragon again. ::shakes her head:: and i really didn't wanna do that. by the way, i was under the impression that that was taken care of in the newest patch (not the beta everyone has been using for the last year). do you have that installed? Thanks vesselle at least i know now that i will only have to kill that dragon one more time.
I had`nt thought about installing the new patch, I was always hearing how it restricted your play or change exp caps. |

actually the patch has been really good to me. prior to installing it, i had odd graphical glitches and sporadic crash to desktop occurrences. since putting in the new, final patch, everything is smooth as silk.
i don't think any of the official patches would remove the experience caps. you have to install a special program, like the one made by teambg, to override those. V***V (edit)ps: the patch im referring to is the brand new one. only a couple of weeks old and upgrades you to version. 2.0.23035 [This message has been edited by vesselle (edited 05-24-2001).] |
