Like he says, they're mostly unusefull, only the Alicorn Lance and Call Lightning are usefull from the Ranger's repertoire, and the Paladin get's some always-handy buffs and stuff. Not something to write home about, but comes in handy.

thanks for the info, espacially that site, it was very interresting.

If i have understood it properly, for my ranger 20/druid 10 to be able to learn her spells, she'll only need WIS 15. This is good, since is allows me to boost her CH a bit. I agree that the ranger spells aren't what I'd like them to be, but you've given me some nice tips there as well, so I'll be alright.

so, the the team is under construction, but the basic is this (including starting stats) :

(all female)

1. Dione, a Wild elf Sorceress. (CH 18, IN 10 [the first thing to be raised] rest of the stats 12). our main talker. Will learn spells to protect her friends and harm her foes as much as possible. Maybe some dire charm or dominate person as well. Identification OR knowledge arcana, not sure which yet! Main weapon will be bow.

2. Sapphire, a ˝, elf Bard/rouge. (high INT and DX, medium CH) concentrates on rouge-ish skills, such as unlock, search, disable device etc..., won't spend points on hide, since the bardic spell invisible or inproved invisible will be used. Will probably use crossbow.

3. Artemis, ˝ orc, ranger:20/druid:10. (WIS 15, max DX, CH 10 [will raise to 12 or more], CN an ST equal) fights with both bows and longswords. Will maybe learn a healing spell or two, otherwise defensive spells. her first favored enemy will probably be trolls. Wilderness lore and animal empathy, maybe move silently.

4. Shielda Maiden, shield dwarf, pure fighter. (CN 20, 8 [or lower!] on WIS, IN and CH, rest of the point equal DX and ST). our tank, will only concentrate on ST and DX. Not sure what skills to give her. Just intimidating perhaps? Main weapon will be bastard sword.

5. Willow, human [+ feat: yuan-ti blood], monk of the old order. (WIS and DX 18, CH and IN 4, ST and CN equal rest). not much to say here, have heard a lot of nice things about monks, so we hope she'll kick some arse...

6. Gaya, stronheart halfling, Cleric of lathlander [and probably 4 levels of fighter). (DX 16, Wis 18 and CH 12, rest 10) Our main healer. will grow to be a decent fighter with time, will concentrate on protecting her friends. Main weapon will be mace or polearm. not sure yet. migh be both

*This means two pure fighters, [the dwarf and the monk], to major spellcasters [sorceress and cleric], and two minor, multiclassing, spellcasters, [ranger/druid and bard/rouge]*

I The whole concept of the team is that they all outsiders.
Dione is an unusual wild elf, as she is very outgoing.
Sapphire and Shielda grew up in the same orphanege.
Artemis mother was raped by her orc father (her 2:d favored enemy will be orcs), and therefore became an outcast in her hometown. She and her mother, (a druid), fled to the woods and seldom met other people.
Willow was asked to leave her order because she was to modern.
Gaya became a great cleric despite the lack of faith her family and friends had in her. "A halfing can't become a cleric!" - oh, yes they caaaan! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

actually, it seems as the whole thing will be canceled, as both me and my friend never has the time for it!
to bad in one way, but kinda good in another, cause this mean I can decide for myself how the party should look instead... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

If I was allowed to choose, I would drop "sapphire" and make "willow" a human-thiefling instead, doing a monk/rouge out of her. Her "background" would be the same, only that before the monks took her in, she was a young criminal.
Also, I would unite "Gaya" and "Shielda" into one, making a dwarven cleric/fighter.

I would advise against taking lower than 10 on WIS. The lower your WIS, the easier it will be for others to take control with mind-altering spells.
