Well, I can't find a bored for this, so ... yeah.
I'm wondering if anyone knows any cheats for this. Preferably not the kind that involves tampering with files.... I really need a "god" type cheat, or "kill" cheat. Can anyone help me??

You can post questions about Torment (or other games that don't have a separate forum) in the Miscellaneous Games Forum.
Anyway, there are no editors for PS: Torment like the ones you have for BG and IceWind Dale... I did find a hack once that allowed to to start your game with the Nameless One whose stats were all 25, though I don't see where's the fun in that. Apart from that, there are no cheats that I know of that make you more powerful or immortal - well, of course he *is* immortal in a sense - your main character can't die - when he reaches 0 hitpoints the game just reloads at a near point. Hope that helps.

Thanx for your quick reply!
Yeah, I know he just comes back again and again, but I seem to keep getting overwhelmed by these thugs, ro whatever, and can't kill 'em all. There's just me and the Skull guy, and I don't know where to go next to get other party members...... I guess I just haven't played for long enough.... I should probably give it a go before I start looking for cheats, ey? Again, thanx for the reply.

slounds like the gangs in the alley(w/ the burned out church) run from one territory to the other and they'll fight eachother a guy may ask you to pay him, do otherwise you'll have both gangs trying to kill you.

There is an editor out there, teambg have one but the link dosent work. Cheats suck anyway, so heres some pointers:
Clot charms, lots of Boost CON a fair bit - at 25 CON you regenerate 2Hp per second. Probably only viable if you boosted CON a lot in the beginning though, if you didnt dont bother because it will take to long. Good weapons are hard to come by till you leave Sigil. There arent many standouts in the whole game, and those that there are are either impossible to get yet or too expensive. Morte is *tough*, get any thugs to target him and resurrect when neccesary. SPOILERS AHEAD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. For some more firepower, head to the smouldering corpse bar and talk to dak'kon. He'll join you easily enough and is a fighter/mage and so is very useful. Ignus in the same location is also recuitable, but not quite yet. Annah will probably be your next recruit, and is your mandatory thief character. A very good mandatory thief character though. Youll get her after doing the first major quest.

Have Morte use his Taunt ability. That will engrage the opponent, lowering their AC and attack ability, and they will attack only Morte. This works well on single opponents, okay with 2 or 3, but isn't much help with a gang.
Your AC starts out really low, and you don't find a lot of items to raise it. Go to Ragpickers Square, and you'll find a ring that gives you +2 AC. There are other items around as well. Oddly, playing as a mage gives you access to better AC items than a fighter. If you're having a hard time with the gangs in the alley, leave and come back later. You should do all the quests in the four sectors of the Hive and Ragpickers Square. You can join the Dustmen for additional quests. They don't seem very fun, but you can quit them later and join a different faction. |
