Gatekeeper is an editor for Baldur's Gate 1. The successor for BG2 is Shadow Keeper. If I recall correctly, you can download it at www.mudmaster.com
It's a character and savegame editor only, so you won't be able to create items. Still, it is very good and simple to use. Give it a try

Shadow keeper has the ability to put items in your inventory if you wish !!!
and can change your theiving abilities, saving throws,etc
