The One-Eyed Wolf (Sphere of Chaos/Waiting for Deiter)

Kaz heard the Drow - obviously a mage - chanting words. the artifact started to glow black. Everybody else was moving in slow motion, or so it seemed. The Drow finished chanting and took a knife from his belt. It was black and jagged. He slashed it across his hand, wincing as he did so. Blood spilled from the black palm and hit the artifact. There was a blinding flash of obsidian light which made everyone shut their eyes instinctively...
Opening them, Kaz saw the creature she'd seen in the gorge before. From this distance, it was obvious that the thing was not human. Laughing in a deep, hissing voice, it started towards her parents. The young Kaz shrieked and ran away, unnoticed by the adults. The demon reached her parents, who seemed frozen. It laughed and touched her father, everything went black. Kaz suddenly felt as though she were falling again... through the descending darkness she could see the room, filled with Drow and only Drow...

It's fine, I think you should add level too though. Mistral, dyou know how much xp your character has so I can adjust mine? I sent you a reply, btw, Larry, filled it out for my character.

She tosses and turns in her bed, acutely aware of her irregular pulse and the uncomfortable knot in her heart. The events of the day have clearly drained her of her energy, and yet, she knows the night will not bring any welcome rest. Sighing, she climbs out of her bed, puts on her cloak and begins to pace around...

A sudden stab of pain assaults her head, followed by another, then another... ~ Isabeau! What on earth has happened? ~ Her mild irritation turns to complete horror as she takes in the information relayed telepathically by her familiar ~

~ No... I must find them! And help them! ~ Hurriedly, she picks up her swords and casts a teleport spell to an area close to the potential battle ground, where she can see her familiar and Larry close by, without being detected. ~

If this dragon awakes...I am going to have to try and talk my way out of it...And if Mistral has come in...I will really be wary of my actions...by the way...I have Kaz's vote in the affirmative for the application. I suppose you sent it to my home PC, right? Anyone else?

ooc: Kaz - Exp of my character = 500 000 + 1,125,000 = 1,625,000. That's level 14 for your specialist mage.

level 1-3: 6 spells
level 4-5: 5 spells
level 6: 3 spells
level 7: 2 spells
