As to why students fail - I found that when I was in university a surprisingly high number of final year students realise that they are not actually studying the path and subjects that they wish to pursue, and all of a sudden realise they wish they were studyingnsomething different. I couldn't believe how many people in my class up and decided that half way through the final year.

Oh i don't know, s i've studied it it seems to get less and less logical and further and further away from reality. My top tip for maths: just learn how to do it, don't even try to understand it!!

YOu know when proofs take up a whole chapter your in trouble.
