As it did when we hit 160,000+ posts before, it slowed submitting to the choc MUCH slower. So, what I'm going to do tomorrow is archive old posts into a new archive Forum (which IS now open, but has double posts because of that hard drive crash we had) but it'll be corrected, and Gen Con will again be super fast!! The "Current Events" forum took some heat of GenCon IMHO. So it's not that bad.
However: faster is always better - way to go

Good! I had noticed things slowing a bit here in Gen Con.

Actually I haven't noticed any slowing down when posting. But there are definitely more posts than necessary in the Gen Con. LOL

LOL
I'm local, and I notice a huge difference , I call it the 'five count'--the second you hit submit, it should say 'posted' within 5 seconds on the typical Forum and at non-peak times. I've noticed it has been a bit sluggish, as for counting the seconds, with a Broadband modem it takes about 10 seconds to submit to the Choc.
