After using the miners permit to exit the mines, it was given back to a charactor with a full inventory, who promptly dropped it. The problem is the 'please wait, loading' box then appeared and when it was done the permit had vanished
 Is there anyway to get it back or to get another??? I need it to get the dragon ore and so on.....I do have a previous save but its quite a while back. (yes i know save early, save often, but i forgot)

Dont' worry about it. Just give the guard a Boogre Brew, and everything should be alright. He'll give you another permit.
 [I forget if the function is Use Brew, or Give Brew. Someone may be able to clear that up for you.]

That's a glitch I think no one has run into before
Glad you can still get some Brew... or else you'd be visiting Wyvern's special shoppe  Try using or giving it. It will work one way or the other.
