Anyone know where there is a forum for Planescape Torment?
All I need to know is how to 'specialise'. My character is a level 13 Fighter but all the trainers keep saying they cannot help him any further until he Specialises in the warrior class but I don't know how to do this... |

Thanks for the quick reply.Unfortunately I have already got 2 unused slots from previous Level Up's that the trainers will allow me to use on other forms of weapon ie Hammer, Edged weapons but not on the Fist proficiency which I am currently +++ at. I know you can go higher as Morte is +++++ in this proficiency. Maybe I do just need to get a higher level first but then why give me the option now ?

From memory, trainers each have their own proficiencies, and they get better as the game goes on. The best two trainers I encountered where a guy at the enterance to the Lower Ward area, and another dude in the bar in the Curst area (but I think you have to win his trust through a quest first).

You can also be trained as a fighter by the guy in the Sensate's place, he's called something like Qui-San. He is in one of the smaller rooms to the right in the Covoc Festhall. You'll have to follow the right dialogue options though (if you do, he will also give you +1 wisdom).
Hope this helps... ------------------ Melusine, High Queen of Fluffies, Archbabe of the Order of the Holy Flame and the Laughing Hyenas, & Official Entertainer Elf of the BG2 Bar Your voice is ambrosia |

Oh and if you are looking for some PS: Torment forums try here:
The Mithril Hall or Planet Baldur's Gate Unfortunately, you'll have to register to be able to access the Mithril Hall. Some good walkthroughs for PS: Torment are found at Gamespot Planet BG and Sorcerer's Place You don't have to worry about being spoiled, as the sites provide an index based on the areas in the game, so you can read only the walkthrough for the area you are currently in. ------------------ Melusine, High Queen of Fluffies, Archbabe of the Order of the Holy Flame and the Laughing Hyenas, & Official Entertainer Elf of the BG2 Bar Your voice is ambrosia |

Thanks for all the advice - I've been to the two trainers suggested. Qui-san tells me to see Korur in the Lower Ward and he in turn tells me he can't train me until I specialise...ARGGHHH!!!...How do I do that?
I'm about to enter the Fortress of Regret..I'll just go in with what I've got. Oh, and thanks for the references to the available forums too. See you on the negative plane.... |

He is the only one in the game that can help you. I hope that this will hepl some of your troubles.
