Who read!?!?!? I do, so blah. I can read some 700 pages in under 3 weeks and thats when I read off and on, not when I sit down and "really" read.

Oh yeah, English may or may not be the best language, but one thing is certain. English is grammatically the most complex language in existance. (at least as far as greek and latin based languages go, I think.)

If a book catches my interest, I can easily read for hours and sometimes even forgo my sleep in order to finish the book, so 200 pages in one sitting is not uncommon for me, reading even during my meals.

Dundee there is a reason you can do 200 pages in one sitting. You don't live in the U.S., and I think you're over 18 (just a hunch). Students here in the U.S. tend to not sit still long enough to read much at all. (Actually many of my friends had the gall to say that Lord of the Rings sucked for the sole reason that it left them hanging at the end. The lack of knowledge about such pieces of fine literary art is mind boggling.)

I have yet to read the LotR trilogy even though I want to, because the price for the books skyrocketed due to the movie.
