I just discovered this tactic with my all spellcaster party. Having trouble beating firkrag without cheese? I memorized a whole bunch of stoneskin and fireshield red spells then cast them on everybody. You give one person the ring of fire resistance and boots of speed so they should be over or almost 100 percent resistant to fire so his breath wont kill you and you can make a quick escape. With your fire ringed boots of speed person go straight up to firkgrag and use all your direct damage spells on him and when you start running out of stone skins run away and send someone else down. When you pass them go to inventory and give the new person the ring and boots. Also switch up if he wing buffets you. Rinse and repeat till the carsomyr pops out from its hiding place(we all know he has no pockets so you know where he was hiding it)

interesting =) sounds like a plan... do you know if stone skin can be cast on fodder just for kicks ? or even a fire elementaled stoneskinned torch boy
