We downloaded the three files listed in the Undermountain section. As you can see, some of them went where they were supposed to and some (apparently) didn't. Will the CEP hakpak in this post just overwrite any of the other files?

Re: Is Undermountain still open? [Yep! Sure is!]
Just downloaded the full version of CEP 2.3 again, extracted all files into my NWN/CEP file and I still get more than a dozen "missing files" when I try to log into Undermountain.

Are those files in the download? Perhaps they are being put in the wrong place for the EFU mod?
Not sure its been a while for me torubleshooting this.

I followed the directions on the forum and it didn't work, so something else needs to be done.

Re: Is Undermountain still open? [Yep! Sure is!]
Firstly Check and ensure that all the missing files are in the Pack you downloaded. Do a Search on your NWN directory.
If they are make sure those files are in the C:\Neverwinter Nights\NWN\Hak\ directory. If they are not in the file you downloaded then grab the 1.52 hackpack as I know that has the required files in it. I'm not sure if 2.0 still requires those files or if they have done something different. EDIT CEP 1.52 can be downloaded here 1.52 to 1.53 updater can be downloaded here If it asks to overwrite then don't but let it extract any missing files Also make sure that there are files only in the HAK folder there should be no sub folders.

Well I decided to take a peak at the old EfUM server and after finally getting in I created a new character and found that none of the feat/skill point choices were taking and the feats panel and everything remained blank any idea what might cause that?

Sounds like a bug. After you do these changes, rest. See if that saves it. (Resting will save your character too). but exiting the game should as well.. weird.
Let me know!

Re: Is Undermountain still open? [Yep! Sure is!]
Cerek.
I have just had to redo and reload NWN1 and Undermountain and ran into the same problem as you did. It seems that the CEP installer creates a new hak folder within the NWN folder. Tedious I know, but check whether you have a NWN\hak folder and whether it contains the files you need. If so, then copy them across to the principal hak folder in the Neverwinter Nights programme directory and all should be well. As for my own problem with Windows 7, I am embarrassed to admit that the solution was so obvious I missed it for ages. After hours of messing about with patches and downloads, going through compatibility systems and programme options and settings I did what I should have done first. I updated the drivers for the graphics card and suddenly all the problems go away. Back in Undermountain when I stop kicking myself. |

Re: Is Undermountain still open? [Yep! Sure is!]
Thanks to my oldest son, we now have all the hak files in the proper folders. He took some time after school (while I was still working) to figure out which files were still missing, download them and make sure they went into the correct folders.
We have now begun our exploration of Undermountain. I'm playing a dwarven fighter/wm named Barak Badaxe. Hope to see some others down there while I'm looking around.
