From IWD to IWD2

Are parties importable from iwd to iwd2. Due to the different rules, i doubt you can but does anyone know for certain?

Nope, I was pretty dissapointed in it, but the 3rd edition rules are AWESOME. However you could just get the IWD2 editor and recreate your characters, give them they're levels, spells they had, equipment (the editor has a few of the IWD1 items in 3rd ed. rules), stats, etc.

Thanks. IWD2 looks amazing, i thnk there is too much detail if that is possible.

No you can`t import your party and it might take a little while to learn new rules. Overall it`s a good game.

Yes IWD2 is far more complicted or sophisticated depending on which way you look at it.
