Remember in BGI when you were moving the party you could go into "map mode" and watch them move? Is there any way to do that in BGII? I've looked in the config and didn't see anything.

Sure you can. I did it all the time! Don't know how I did it. I just did it.

I don't know why you can't. I do it everytime I play. I
used to do it just to watch the bonehead party member who
always seemed to take the wrong turn somewhere.

Does it seem to anyone else that doxin has it backwards? i could NOT do it in BG1, tried and i specifically remember thinking how much use it would be, right before i thought about how useful giving movement orders in map mode would be (that bonehead again). since i never had SOA installed by itself i dont know about BG2, but certainly its posible with TOB.

Yes this was possible with a Multiplayer game, not in the Single Player game as fas as I can remember. In BG2 you can do this only if you have TOB installed or have a multiplayer game running. Another good reason to get TOB would be that if you press TAB, instead of just displaying the hit points of your characters, any doors or objects you can open/close will also be highlighted. This is very useful for searching for those hard to find treasures in some areas.

Do you have TotSC installed? That may be a requirement. I never played BG1 without it.
