question about Haste

i read a post where sazerac said Haste was totally useful in w8. now, i'm used to the Haste Spell from dnd, where you get a bonus to hit and a/c increase, but you pay for it in HUGE fatigue hits afterwards. so much so, that some party members are useless.
LOL! and boy do they whine. "i'm tired. i want to sleep. i don't care if there are 10 gazers and 20 necromancers trying to waste us....i WANT a nap. NOW!!" ::sounds of snoring ensue::

does that happen in w8? any kind of ramifications from using Haste alot?

I've been using haste a lot, and have not noticed any big penalty.

You do use up stamina a little faster during the battle, but that is only because each attack burns a set amount, and you are attacking more often.

But after the battle is over, stamina recovers normally, and everything is just peachy.
