When all of a sudden for no apparent reason the engine cuts out and they get stuck on the side of the road. The first engineer looks at the engine for awhile and then says, " I'm a chemical engineer and judging by what I see here this is a problem with the carburator. We need to take it apart, clean it and then the car willstart fine." The second engineer disagrees, "No no!" he says. "I studied Electrical engineering for 5 years and I can tell you right now that the problem is either the coil or the alternator. Lets clean the spark plugs and the points, and I'm sure the car will start after that!" The third engineer looks at the other two with contemt and not even bothering to look at the engine of the car declares, "I'm a software engineer with 8 years of experiance. I dont know what the problem is, but the solution is quite simple. Close all the windows get out the car and close all the doors, the get back in the car open the windows and I garentee the car will start again!"
