How many of you owned a Commodore 64? Do any of you know the game Gateway?

EDIT: It's actually called "Gateway to Apshai"

Well our families first computer was a Pentium 90, so I never really go to play many Commadore 64 games.

Wow! I just found this site with a lot of C64 games, brings back some good memories. Games I used to play, apart from Gateway to Apshai.. Wonderboy, World Games, Zorro.. This is just awsome!!

Check out www.lemon64.com/index2.php

The best C64 games were Archon and Archon II

And no I don't remember those screens, I wasn't geeky enough as a kid

Hmmm.
How can one make Ultima IV work on Windows XP? The sounds are working, I get as far as the title screen (the one that asks me if I want to start a new game or stuff) but no matter what button I press it does nothing. Should I just give up?

If you like the old text-based games (who doesn't) try Gateway. Okay, its not completely text. It has some graphics, sometimes even animated. Based (loosely) on a book with same name.

*admits to deleting it with last computer upgrade* I never played it through but had some sort of 'updated' version that would run on win98 for a while. I think it came with another game I had.

If you like the old text-based games (who doesn't) try
Have you downloaded a DOS Emulator, you will need it to get this one running on XP. Try Dosbox

Then again some old DOS games just are not going to work emulator or not.
