Best spell

What is the best spell for killing monster from a distance? i dont have some and making spell is so darn expensive so any suggestions? I am only a t level 4 yet but i only use the "frost bite" (tutch spell) and it is a little to weak i think!!

Fireball, frostball, lightning ball.

Killing monsters with a magic-user during the first 10 levels of your character is insanely difficult and tedious, but once you get enough money to make a spell, it becomes easier. The first spell I made was called "Intense Burn". I combined reduce fire resistance and fire dmg to make a powerful spell that still kills some monsters in 1 hit (and now I'm lvl 38)

I suggest a duration damage spell, something like 5-10 over 6 seconds. This type of spell helped me to break into my first daedra shrine early in the game.

There are alot of good distance spells but imo the ones you make are a little more enjoyable to use for some reason. Combos of this and that. Destruction ones have been the best for myself. Just keep useing your frost bite on rats, birds, and wondering monsters Megabot, your destrution skill will increase as you go.
Avenstar is right, make sure if you make some, at least give it some duration.
Becareful NOT to make a spell more powerful then you can use also... cough, cough.. I am level 21 now with a destrution skill at 89 or something and I made 2 spells at the begining of my game that I still can't cast- bummer.

the 2 best distance spells are gods frost/fire you are able to buy the spells from a spell merchant located in dirty muriels. also located in sadrith mora for those who dont know.

they both launch from a distance and deal 16-60 fire/ice damage for 10 seconds, and has a 10 foot radius effect.

the unfortunate thing if your not heavy in magicka points is it costs 135 to fire.

i mainly use that spell to kill mages or necros that your sent out on missions to go kill. 1 sgot wait a sec then they go down.

Yes thats another thing I just remembered about spells. Spell you buy from merchants only use half the amount of spell power it would take if you made the spell yourself. The 50 pt unlock spell sold by merchants uses 15 magic points, but if you make that spell yourself, it will cost 30 points to cast. I am sure this goes for all custom spells. So, always try buy your high powered spells premaid from merchants.

My fave is vampires kiss (bloodlust plugin) i love this spell it harms them and restores ur health how cool.J:J
