Afraid so, but it was pretty much necessary. When Caleb basically stopped posting it would be Lorath wandering around on his own and talking to NPC's unless I combined the parties.

For the record, I was perfectly fine walking around talking to myself and my crazy gibbering sword. Then again, I also would've thought it was funny if we kept switching locations, since I was going back to the portal next, especially if we had the Benny Hill music playing.

Yeah, but it's a bit boring for me to just lead around a single PC with a bunch of NPC's, not much point to the game if there's only one PC in any particular branch of the story.

Oh, no worries, I don't think you'll be slowing everything down.
The terrible strain of having to pick a course of action without an NPC handily telling everyone where to go next seems too much for everyone. |
