Sorry I had to leave in the middle of a thread last night, to make it worse, I got home and the power was out!
So, here are my delayed responses:

Gabriel, yes that is the place, it's about 40km from my house. Thank you for the link, they do good things there.\

Turbovee, I'm working on three cars just now; 1973 Olds 442, 1955 Jeep CJ5, and my daily driver, 1969 VW type III. Putting a new tranny in the VW this weekend in fact.

Wolfgir, sorry I didn't get to post to you last night, my heart goes out to you, keep fighting and talking to your friends.

Well the battle is over for this time, it was a rather short but tough one He, well it still hurts but well I´m used to it so I will be ok.

Thank you for your concern!

a 69 VW, cool! If you haven't heard about me I collect and restore old VWs. I'm always glad to tell folks about them. Ask Cloudbringer and Ladyzekke

if your interested I'll list them for you. BTW what kind of type III do you have? hmmmmm I'm guessing a squareback since they were the most popular model.

I currently race a '56 turbo bug hence the name. Not my prize piece, but one of the most fun

Turbovee - Sorry for the late reply...
Actually, my Type III is a fastback automatic. Fairly rare little beast, but I love it. The transmission is being rebuilt even as I write this. My friend owns a restoration & repair shop, he's got approx 200 bugs of different years, plus some transporters, jettas, type II's & III's, & other misc. stuff. Let me know if you need a parts source & I'll hook you up with him.

Absynthe, you guys are having power problems in Washington too? I thought us Californians were the only ones without any power.

Tremble and despair, for I am power! All here are now judged, and are found wanting.
