I dont think the Pc is a half-god, They are not even a demi-power or anything special. Just a godson. They have to take a protfolio to become a god. Even lyachtu Xvim the godson of the best god of all,BANE, wasnt one till he stole tyranny from cyric.

We all know you guys like to see two gals together but could I *please* pick a MALE NPC?

I agree (although I'm a guy) it should be "Who would you most like to have a romance with". Not everyone follows the same path. I would choose to romance my druid with Haer Dalis, he's a romantic.

What an inimaginative bunch. There are loads of NPCs in BG2, and you're all just picking on the ones that can fit into your party! Just think of the possiblities...
Adalon, the Silver Dragon. If her voice is anything to go by she must be a true beauty.
Phaere, the Drow princess, for any of you who like to be dominated.
Raelis Shai, for those who like a creative companion.
If Bodhi takes your fancy, why not consider some of her cohorts? Valen, Del and Tanova seem to have better dress sense than their swimsuit-favouring mistress.
Lanfear, for those who feel romance is worth dying/killing for.
Vaelasa, Queen of the Dryads, or her charges must be lovely, according to general AD&D mythos.
Catti Brie, Drizzt's friend, for those of you who've read the Icewind Dale trilogy (it is the ID trilogy, right?)
And, lastly, Queen Ellesime. Anyone who Irenicus - the Iceman himself - once had the hots for can't be that bad-looking.

And for those of a female persuasion, well...

Gaelan Bayle, the Dick van Dyke cockney thief of Baldur's Gate.
Solaufein, who might be considered a tragic hero if he wasn't so annoyed all the time.
Saemon Havarian, for those who like the wrong kind of man.
Hendak the gladiator, for those who go for a hunk with a foreign accent.

I must confess that, looking at the situation, the girls out there have a lot less material to work with than the guys. For some reason, all Bodhi's male vampire thralls seem to have the appearance of rotting corpses. I don't know if they simply can't be bothered to make an effort, or whether the female vamps are simply pressured into feeling they have to conform to some Anne Rice stereotype. Likewise with personalities - there seem to be less 'likeable' male characters. Even the female villains in BG2 seem to have a kinky aspect to their personalities. Part of the D&D tradition, or just a lot of lonely programmers living out their fantasies?

What the hell are you guys talking about?!?!?! This is pretty pathetic if we are talking about NPC's to get your mack on with. I would understand celebrities but come on people you will never see a damn nymph in your life.

Don't you people see this thread is a joke...as in, hypothetical!!! Of course none of the posters would actually want to have a relationship with an NPC (what this has to do with paedophilia escapes me, Aerie must be over 100 years old

), it's just a fun poll. When you're discussing fighting tactics here you don't plan on actually using them in real life, do you? (if you do, THEN you're a sick and twisted person) And don't you think it's a bit fishy that you both seem to think that saying the exact same thing about a celebrity *is* allowed?? Heck, I'd say the chances that either of us gets to date a celebrity is about as big as the chance for us to hit it off with a nymph!

Aerie is too nice and clingy.
Jaheira is horrid, masculine and opinionated. (But attractive.)
Nalia is condescending to us plebs... also her voice is irritating.
Viconia is ... uh... blue... which looks kind of drowned to me.
Imoen - nope, not me sister!
Bodhi is undead, and would just want to bite... but she has a nice voice and is kinky. Possibly her.
Mazzy is great! Brave, tough, cool accent, self reliant and friendly too. I'd go with her! Also she's a halfling. Our offspring would make great burglars!

Ah forget it. Who needs romance. I'd rather drink ale with Korgan instead, or trade insults with Edwin.
