I sure hope you're right Grojlach, it would be sad to see IW, the place which has made me happy sometimes and given me a chance to share my thoughts with others, die.

This happens to all forums from time to time. If any of the swedes here have visited finalfantasy.nu recently, they know exactly what I mean...

A forum which has died? How unfortunate, it's sad when a community dies like that.

Istaron, if we count all the members who post for more than a week or after their particular problem with a game is solved, then IW is now probably about 700, not counting multies, and when I say 700 I'm probably exaggarating(sp?)

Many forums will naturally die down a bit as one set of games gets played out and new ones are not yet in the shops.....

Having a General Discussions forum helps keep a board alive, though!

It's sad to think of it, but I think IW is dying, or at least going into a period of hibernation, a LARGE part of the oldies have dissapeared or left, most without trace, no newbies come to the GD forum, and even the others are dying, for example, when I first arrived the BG2 Bar in the BG2:SoA forum got 2 new pages each day, now it hardly gets more than 2 posts a day, when I arrived, the GD forum had 5 new topics added each hour and many more replies, it's partially because the oldies like Rudedawg who had such a delightful sense of humour and nice personalities who enticed people from the other forums to join have dissapeared, ever since RudeDawg/Perin Lighteyes, Wah, Kiwidoc and many, many others dissapeared, IW just hasn't been the same for me, if it dosen't get better, I might leave myself.

In the cyberworld of forums, you have got to accept that people will come and go as their RL priorities change. There is nothing sinister or unusual in this process, it just happens as peoples priorities change. One day no doubt, I will fade away from this forum as well.

But in the meantime my attitude is...........PARTY ON!!!!!
