Well, it wasn't me trying to present hardcore evidence but actually demonstrate the contradictions in themselves, where the articles say one thing this month and another the next. While I know personally that Yahoo isn't the most reliable source, I mentioned it because these stories appear as headlines on the homepage under "Top news Stories". Millions of people who don't know better get their news from Yahoo.
Yahoo obviously deems it fit to have 'em on their homepage as "News" items. It also bears mentioning that I will see many of these same stories on NBC news that night (or that day), as a "hot topic" or some crap. My point is only this. Regardless of what your professor would allow, other mainstream media channels with massive audiences are allowing it. For good or for bad it is reaching alot more people than they could ever reach. While I do happen to agree with you on the unreliability of Yahoo (that was the whole point of my original post), detractors could easily ask just what makes your report superior in comparison? After all, we do see multiple professors and specialists attesting to said articles. Saying you have prepared a paper on it isn't enough to give you the corner-market. For that matter, I myself have done years of study in alternative medicine/vitamin supplementals etc. with hands-on experience.

If you go by taste alone, there is no "best" chocolate LOL. Everyone has different taste buds like with any food. I happen to...OMG hold your breath and brace yerself!...LIKE AMERICAN CHOCOLATE! OMG! I hope you guys are OK. I like other chocolates too, only chocolate I don't care for is Brachs brand cause it tastes kinda old and dry (might be actually old since these things hang from shelves for ages LOL). And I don't have a chunky butt either, like with any foods, you should eat within reason and get exercise, otherwise you are on your way to chunky-buttism.
Hmmmm, think I'm gonna walk across the street and get me a pack of M&Ms. |

I like the cheap "crappy" chocolate! I think "chocolate" should taste sweet or peppery, not bitter... BTW: Who changed the topic title?

Those blamed moderators are always messing with people's posts and topic names. I'm tired of it, I tell ya.

Here's some information I found while trying to find exactly "who" makes the "real" stuff.
A guy named Alessio Tessieri had the idea that if you cannot make fine wine without the proper grapes grown in the proper region, then it could be that the best chocolate could only come from the right crop in the right soil. He found that region and began to grow the criollo beans in an isolated part of Venezuela called Chuao. Quote:

Here are links to this Italian market. http://www.amedei.com/jspamedei/index.jsp?lang=en http://www.amedei-us.com/ This website has a group devoted to Chocolate the way wine experts are devoted to the best wines. They rate the chocolate in much the same way, and have a list of the top 10! They also have a forum. http://www.seventypercent.com/chocop...tail.asp?ID=67 Here is another forum that I like to read from every once in a while. http://www.chocophile.com Also, from that reference link, it contains a FAQ that has some great information that I wish I would have come across last semester when I was doing my presentation for school. Ah well...I still got an A. http://www.finedarkchocolate.com/Cho..._FAQ/Cacao.asp Sample FAQ from that page: Quote:
