Well, it's not really my stuff, but I'm helping somebody out. This person imported 3 characters from BG1 into a solo multiplayer game. Now, she can't find most of her old items. She found a few, the Golden Pantaloons, her Helm of Balduran (in addition to another she found), and I think that's it. Can anybody help?

Thanks

-Jafin

When you start SOA with an imported character for BG1 you loose all your stuff.

Where did she find the panthaloons?

------------------
"No!" shreiked Tyrion. Though the sword felt heavy as a fallen tree he lifted it. He saw the deamon look up, astonished. He brought down the blade with the awesome majestic power of a falling thunderbolt. The burning blade caught the deamon right in the centre of its forehead. The deamon's head fell apart under the force of the impact. The deamon N'kari sank to its knees, dead.

apparently some stuff _does_ cross over but is scattered throughout the world. the golden pantaloons would definatley cross over since there a secret concerning them, the defender +5 belonging to drizzt does _not_ cross over because it unbalances the game, and other stuff would have a random chance.

I play solo multiplayer all the time tell your friend to go back to their origanal game that they imported from.
check the characters inventory then export that character
then start the game with only "ONE" character he will have no
inventory then save game.restart same game import same character into the saved game Now your main character will have a twin with all his inventory. At this
time import any other charcters they want in the game. Now transfer inventory to your main character from your twin then save game.
Then delete stripped twin. The rest of team will then have all there inventory.
This works every time, remember when ever you start a game your players are all
just rookies and you have tou get past the opening in order to get inventory
items! This goes for all Baldure's gate games
Remember Start game with only ONE character then Import the rest
HAVE FUN

The pantaloons are hidden somewhere within the first dungeon if you bring them along, behind the painting in the first room with equipment, I believe that nothing else except the pantaloons can be brought along.

I always have it in my inventory in BG1. It just wouldn't be the same game without it...
