Actually, it's already been done. Not in this game, mind you, but if you take the evil path in Might and Magic VII, you get the chance to turn your mages into liches. Yes, they are powerful, an no, it's not a pretty sight.

Yep. In 3rd edition it has half the hit points of a living dragon, but it has all the undead immunities/vulnerabilities, paralyzes with each hit, and can still cast spells.

I would REALLY like to be a lich (a good lich), and have all clerics rally behind me (irony at it's finest). But think of a demi-dracolich, that would be COOL! (get it on your side FAST!) Oh, Aurican, you talk about your social life being shot as a lich- use charm spells.

I all the domains I know only of one good lich and it's in Ravenloft. It was a bard victim of a curse when he angered the Lich Azlin and hid behind one of Azlin spell book the magical energies made the bard into a good Lich.


But If people countinu wanting to play these ultra powerful creatures I thing they are going to have to make a Game based on pnp Reversed AD&d. But I douth many would cherich the roleplay experiance of being a Goblin or Kobold. (I played a Kobold on Pnp and it if quite a fun Chalange). Because if you start wanting these high power campgains it kinda changes the feel of the game.

I was a player in an Ad&d game where the world was spilt in a war agains Law and Chaos we played agens of Law but we where draw from the most powerful agents of law. I was an erynes a lesser Baatezu, in the party we had a acheron(demi-angel), a Silver Dragon(shapeshifted in a elven Female 3/4), an Ogre-mage that had acced one of the largest libraries of magic on Ferune, A elven Ice priestest, a Barbarian king (Lv 23 warrior). But it's kinda got boring internal disputes arose even if we where all Lawful. Once we fought a horde of Undead vampires, when you are a Baatezu a Vampires are nothing I simply walked next to them and burned them with my flame touch. The Dm scraped his Idea and gave us a new game with low-level Carcarter wich was alot more fun.
