I've been to 3 Scandinavian mountain-ski centres - Vemdalen(twice; 2001, 2002), Trysil(2003), Funäsdalen(2004). Both Vemdalen and Trysil are great but Funäsdalen wasn't as good, sadly. My father has been to more centres and thinks that they're the absolute best in Scandinavia, Vemdalen seconded by Trysil. He also said that when he went to somewhere in Austria(2004) and that it was horrible, because the people in charge didn't take care of the tracks like in Scandinavia. Global warming was also an issue.

Just my 2 cents for people who want to go mountain skiing somewhere nice
