Ah, piano. So versatile and so sweet. Loud, soft, angry, sad, happy. The piano can do it all.

I agree with Chewbacca...I'd have to say that wonderful Pianoforte. It's right there in the name, it just screams versitality...

Loudsoft?

It's not called a legatostaccato though. Or an allegroritardi.

Is it?

I'm sorry. I do play the piano and it is a beautiful instrument, but the guitarist in me has to tell this joke.

Why do they put pianos in bars?

So real musicians have somewhere to put their drinks.

I should add that of course the comparitive ratio is entirely dependent on the sexiness of the respective cellist and violist concerned.

O.k. you know what? This talk has got me homesick. I used to work with a fantastic violinist Rosemary Guy, and great cellist, Imogen Reeves in Sydney. Rose in particular had perfect pitch, so I'd sing them their lines, which they'd then play and I'd record. With overdubs, I'd make the two of them sound like an eight or nine piece string section on some songs.

I even hired them for live performing.

Damn.... That sucks. Now I'm bummed. I miss those girls and making music with them.
