Congrats Ivelliis! It's always nerve wracking doing any kind of test, nevertheless driving, when somebody is watching your every move LOL. But you got through it and can now enjoy driving your sister around!
Glad your meeting went well Bubbe. Was your friend exactly as you imagined? |

Good on ya Ivellis! you are now a free man! (assuming you have a car of course). I remember my first driving test: i stalled in the carpark before we even started. Still passed though!
And good effort Bungleau! I recently lost my appetite for about 10 days - no real reason, but was jsut not interested in food. I managed to lose 5kg in about 10 days (sorry, not sure what that is in pounds - about 11 i think). Now that the appetite has returned, i need to make sure the kilos stay off.

Managed to get some flowers planted this weekend so far! That's a great start as i just bought them Friday night. Usually takes us longer to do but since we started several weeks later than usual, I figured we couldn't procrastinate! LOL
Hubby was going to hang a lamp for me a few days ago and that's still waiting... Ahh, the 'honey do' list is a long one!

Gaah.... in the middle of a high-travel month (Phoenix this week, Dusseldorf next, Wisconsin after that...). Add stress and life, and well... where are those guilt-free M&Ms?
Lost 1.8 pounds this week, or about 3/4 kilo. That makes just over 40 pounds now... and one of my neighbors said the nicest thing a couple of days ago! She said I'm melting away before her eyes... awww, shucks.... *scuff, scuff* Couple that with a work overload, and I'm about done. I've been going to bed my usual time for the past couple of weeks, but instead of gaming at the end of the night to relax, I've been doing paperwork... preparing proposals, fixing things... man, this has got to stop! And soon! Maybe a little respite this week, but not much... such is life. Cloudy, tell Nacht I'll hang that lamp in return for getting the lawn cut...

That's the only one I know of... I'll be landing there and heading south towards Burscheid and that area.
I'll be arriving next Sunday, and game for something to pass a little time...

Just asking, because a lot of American towns are named after a European city. I mean, isn't there a Paris somewhere in the US? There's a Birmingham in Alabama as far as i know, there's a Groningen too if i recall correctly, a Moscow, etc...etc.

True enough. I'll make sure to add the city, state, country, and geocode in the future...
*edit* And I had to try to find Groningen in the US... there's only one, a tiny place in Minnesota. There's my geography lesson for the day [ 06-10-2007, 02:14 PM: Message edited by: Bungleau ]

Hehe... well, Bungleau, he's out with the yard trimmer now, finishing up the edging. Hoping to get that lamp hung this afternoon, sometime, though!
I've got to do some laundry and banking but after that, he can move my desk and hang that lamp! Hmm.. sense a theme here? LOL, yes, I want my lamp up! We got these neat remote control gadgets for turning them on and off, too. It's nice because in our house, the bulk of the rooms don't have overhead or wall lighting installed, but rather one outlet that has the top socket on a wall switch. I've always felt there wasn't enough light in the place and the electrician said that they can't string ceiling fixtures in the walls for some reason, or even wall fixtures (built in) so we're going for the corded kind and using those silly cord covers...not the nicest look , but hey, at least with the added light I can SEE how not so great the covers look! LOL And read my mail and be able to see when I read a book.
