After having finished the game two times already, I'm now building my first Malkavian character. (saved the best for last ) My question: should I focus on putting points in Obfuscate, Dementation or both? Which do you reckon is the most fun/useful?

Both, but keep Dementation as your first option.
Don't skip convos, listen to the radio, watch the TV, follow the stop lights and obey the stop signs...

Heh.. thanks Bozos. The one thing that worries me is that developing both is going to cost me a whole lot of points. But I'll see what becomes available and keep Dementation as a first choice.

Hm.. another question. I occasionally hear some kind of whisper during dialogues, but they're impossible to understand! The last time it happened, I turned my volume all the way up and reloaded several times, but I still have no idea what is being said. Are there any subtitles available for this?

It's the voices... listen to them... they are mostly silent, but when they sense something that is imperative you know, you will.

The "Voices" is pretty poorly implemented, in my opinion. There are no subtitles for them, and raising the volume doesn't help either as all other sounds and the music will be higher as well.

They're not poorly implemented. There is the normal "voices" set that plays every now and then, and then there is the special one. You will hear the special one. It's about the same volum as the Wife from the Ocean House Hotel. *shudders*

Yes, but when the woman in the Ocean House speaks, it's typically the only thing you hear. Whereas the voices tend to manifest themselves while someone else is speaking. A shame.. as they have become precioussss to me. By the way.. are you guys using the special Malkavian Voices mod or just the voices included in the unofficial patch?
On an unrelated note, I came acros a pretty complete Bloodlines Mod website earlier today: http://munchieshevan.twogoddesses.co...lines/main.htm

Yep, you tend to hear the Voices when others are speaking, and with no subtitles you miss them easily.

Dreamer128, I haven't tried any mods yet so I can't really comment on those.
