Oh dear. I done gone and put me in a pickle. Time to see if a few extra points in Charisma pays off more than it used to in BG2..

To dplax: Amazing post! Now the Mage has somebody else to do his dirty work, and I as GM do not have to run those servants as NPCs. Its good to have a PC servant.

To all else: Just in case you missed it, when dplax uses the language of shadows (spanish) when casting spells, those spells are imbued with Shadow and become stronger. He has additional powers besides this which will be shown forth in due time. Any spell cast normally has its normal consequences.

Why is Andrion able to do this? For those that are new to LotF and did not see it, Here, on page 12 is the work of the Mage in upgrading Andrion to a Chosen of Shadow since the Mage is considered a demi-god in status. He can thus claim one mortal to be his special representative on Ironworks.

This is a special kit that was created by Cyril and myself giving him due powers, but not so much as to make him unkillable. He still has his weaknesses as does the Shadow Powers that he has been granted.

All gamers are encouraged to kill him before he kills you.

What exactly does 'stronger' mean?

What exactly does 'stronger' mean?
For example, the level 1 burning hands spell he cast became a level 4 with shadow magic language, able to liquify metallic objects...something that the level 1 version could not.

Cyril and I are charting the bonuses each shadow-enhanced spell receives, and dplax will keep an updated record of what has been prior-approved.

I sat here too long playing, and now I have to rush out the door. If I messed up somewhere in that last post for Vincent, I'll fix it later.

Xaver and Pandaros are free to move through the forest and follow the tracks that were found without additional GM input. I'll jump in when it's time to do so.
