A few times lately I have found some rather nasty monsters wandering around Undermountain in places where I wouldn't normally expect to find them.

Anyone can run from something they can't deal with. Been there and got several T-shirts. But there does seem to be a spate of monsters in areas where they should not be. Are they chasing some other players who have looted and run?

Should players kill them off if they can rather than leave them for the next poor mug to deal with?

In MMORPG's, declaring you have a train and the loc is a good idea. Also, if you can, clearing up the area is good.

Train would be a lot of monsters in an area, and loc would be the location. I've noticed a few areas like that, where the spawns are already there, or in some odd places, usually close to where I'd be expecting them. Most likely the result of a char or chars that couldn't deal with them. Most of the time it's no big deal to either avoid, or confront the creatures, but sometimes you can't do either, and are forced to run. Happens to us all at one point or another.
