I thought I was the only one who did this. For me, if one dies, I feel like even if I win the battle, I have cheated. Sometimes I will go as far as to win it, then reload and win it "properly".

As long as one character survives then all the others come back to life, although always wounded in some way. What I don't like mostly about combat is not the actual fighting, it's that Bioware knew they were making a hard combat game and early in the game they throw enemies at you that you could beat, if you had been able to buy some injury kits or health potions somewhere, by not having them you lose for the sake of one injurykit of health potion. That's not losing because of weakness, that's losing and reloaduing because of Bioware cruelty!

HAHA I wish that was the reason. I'm only just back from a marathon visit to Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, China & India as part of my new "temporary" responsibilities. Tried connecting to GW from the hotel on my laptop and while I think it connected it crashed straight away after freezing after character selection.

Don't even get me started on if I could play DA on this craptastic laptop.

It's even worse Memnoch. Bioware and PC gamers have kept it pretty quiet, but it's not so much 'in close' or 'top down' as it is 'variable between up close and top down', between up and down and moving the screen around left to right, the PC version gives you pretty much any view you want! Sorry!
