So 250...you're going to make an Archer with GM in slings? If you give him GM in anything other than slings, he won't be able to use it when dualing to Cleric.

I don't know if crappy in melee and leather armor only is a good trade for a master slinger...do you?

I am thinking, save the two time stop scrolls you found, bring two protection from magic scroll, save all the sim scrolls, and use those at the end.

cast time stop, and ignore the demons, go directly to Irenicus, which, with so many sim + time stop, he can be killed easily

a better way (in the sense of fairness) is... I dont know

Hm If i'm right by removing the XPCap and getting the level 50 patch you get a Bard with about 18.000.000 XP
He should be able to cast level 9 spell i think

I think the whole point is to make a challenging class to play with.....well, in this case, sort of handicapping yourself.

You should definetly try a Bard if you havent already, they are great fun to play with, makes for a great role playing experience and you realy have to think before you go diving into a tricky situation, lots of reloads and some unconventional tactics are the order of the day, and it all makes for great fun

p.s The Scald is my favourite bard class...just incase you were wondering

The archer cannot be specialized in sling, I have tried it before long ago.

Really?! That's interesting. Dan Simpson's FAQ/Walkthrough indicates that this *is* possible. Maybe someone should drop him a line and have him take another look at that statement. He says in his Class FAQ that the archer can specialize in any missile weapon, including bows, crossbows, and slings. Hmmm...

Don't listen to all that Dan Simpson says, he has said a lot of wrong things.

Maybe it was a bug before you installed that special patch.

Dan Simpson says a lot of right things too.

I think 250 was trying to make a point that playing a dual-class archer-cleric would be...challenging, to say the least.
