I know it is probably illegal but has anyone made a DVD from the cds and could they tell me if there is anything to watch out for. I was going to play BG1 again but the thought of changing cds all the time is enough to put me off for the moment anyway. What would the directory structure of the dvd be etc? I might have a no-cd crack but am not sure.

What do you mean? I am sure the files have to be in some sort of order? Like subdirectories and the like. It can't be that easy. I hate to waste a blank dvd too...

I thought I saw a (retail) DVD version once... But maybe I'm mistaken.

Edit:
Here we go...
Amazon
Some other site
CDMag Release

So it's out there. Try eBay.

I am not going to buy it again just to have it on dvd. Thanks all the same. I will try and make it soon and see if it works.

You don't have to change cd's if you make a full install.. but if you don't have the space you can put the cd's on DVD in folders CD 1, CD 2 etc and then edit the file in the install directory so it refers to the dvd instead of the individual cd.. I think :S
