Hi Dragon2005,

If you've spoken to anephas, then you don't need to go back up to Kerah. You need to go past anephas, out the back door, and on with your quest. Take a look at bsftcs's maps for exact directions to the back door.

About the stone elevator... installing the patch will make it work again. But read the thread on the pros and cons of patching first... you fix certain things, but lose some 'advantages'.

good luck!

Jsalsb has pointed you in the right direction. The back door is found on the other side of the room whose floor has collapsed and has sand all over it.

As a side note i think you should save before you hit the top of the elevator.. just in case.

I'm pretty sure the list of Pros and Cons of patching is in teh best Tips thread.

Hang on i'll go find the exact page.

K it's page 4 slightly lower than midway.

If you have resurrected Anephas and spoken to him you have to take the back entrance, as Bungleau says. It will now be open.

There's an updated listing on what the patch giveth, taketh away, and doeth nothing about. It covers a bit more than Sazerac's original post, so you may want to look at it.

Opening that door is tricky, IIRC. The lever is hidden behind a falling statue.

Other than that, glad to have you playing, and come on back in to let us know how your game is progressing
