Congrats, please remember to let everyone know when you'll be on the road, so we avoid the area...

There's little like the feeling of freedom when you first get your license.

Nice one!! Though from what I can remember, it isn't the hardest test you ever have to sit; just a bit of common sense should get you through.

Good luck with the practical side, that is a bit more tricky.

I would congratulate you, but you seem to be wanting to drive on the wrong side of the road!

heh! I took the theory test in the first year it was devised in Britan - questions were an absolute doddle. This one was my favourite:

Q: You have forgotten your glasses and you want to get home. Do you:

A) Drive VERY fast to get there soon as possible?

B) Drive VERY slowly so you have more time to stop?

C) Borrow somebody else's glasses?

D) Don't drive

some questions were just plain stupid

Would you believe me if I said I had the exact same question today?

Well I did. What year was the test first devised?

I got a question wrong about what time you are not allowed to honk your horn at....and why someone is excluded from wearing a seatbelt. Did pretty well really. Well chuffed.

I've got a red Peugeot 205 as well, 1litre, 59BHP. Don't laugh, its a first car. Probably faster than most of my mates first cars....

the horn? darn! isn't that after 11pm?

it was only a few years ago. I've been driving about 5 or 6 years I think

the questions the second year were mostly gearedd round road rage. Last year's had lots of mechanic type questions
