I played BGII myself today, Antryg. It really makes me mad to see how this one game can be so great, and all these other waste-of-money games keep coming out every month. It sold extremely well, so why cannot Black Isle and Bioware see that there is going to be a growing market for mature, story-driven RPG's, not more and more and better graphics? Oh, and, yes, I fully agree that I had a relatively stress-free high school career, wasn't bullied, did well, no drugs, and I wouldn't go back for any amount of money. College, though, I'd do again in a New York minute.

Att my man! Just the knight I wanted to hear from. Your constant raving about Planescape: Torment has gotten me interested in getting the game. I just can't find it anywhere. Where did you get it and when?

Just as a FYI, I just found PST at FutureShop in a "2 for 1" package at the bargain price of cdn$17.99 (came with SoulBringer).
Dunno if u guys have FutureShop down there (probably not, I think it's a Canadian franchise) but u might want to try Walmart or stores like that, they might have a similar package on the bargain rack.

Antryg, Wal-Mart in Terrell has three copies, last I checked. If you can't find one, I'll be your source. Just let me know. It really is the only RPG fit to rank with BGII.

Thanks Attalus. I have one more Walmart close to me to check and if they don't have it I'll take you up on your offer. What's funny is that Walmart.com doesn't show that they carry the game.

That's probably the same package I got, bundled with Soulbringer?
About the size of two CD cases?

I just thought of a really cool(or not cool) idea to do when bored. Get a whole bunch of friends to mkae wooden swords and shields.Wear coats, depending on color is your HP.Everybody starts out with 10 and for every different color you gain a certain number of hit points. You cannot wear double coats. Here are the color things.
red-5 black-10 blue-15 green-20 other-10 People hide all over a yard, park, school yard, any place that provides good hiding spaces. You wander around dueling people.NO FORMING ALLIENCES. Each hit from a sword causes 2 damage. If you are at the mercy of someone, then they can free you at a price of equipment. If you lose all you hit points then you are out of the game. The only to regain hit points is to rest. You have three rests.Once you use all of them up then you cannot rest anymore. There will be a special place to rest at.If you cannot make a sword then you can use a stick,as long as it's not a like a big club.It would be really cool if i could get this going on in my neighborhood. |
