Every Nuke test ever done [video] -- pretty horrific...
All that radioactive material underground and in the ocean....
(Although, I don't think they counted N. Korea's underground test in this video) http://blip.tv/play/AeaDFAI .

Couldn't get the sound to work, but I think I got the idea just from watching, ugg. Does it mention any known damages from it all?

A fun bit of trivia is that part of the reason why the field of ecology gained some semblence of popularity and respect as a science was because of the nuclear testing going on in the 1950's. The government took a huge interest (and rightfully so) in giving funding towards ecologists and hiring them because they wanted to know the potential effects of nuclear testing on the environment. I'd really have to go digging through some stuff I have to read up on the results of what was studied. At the moment the only thing I remember was a study of I think tritium cycling through an ecosystem... if not tritium some other radioactive particle. |

I cover tritium, uranium, and depleted uranium in my radioactive and heavy metal briefing to senior leaders and users of equipped equipment. When bonded with ground water, blah...
