Re: Trivia: Sci-Fi
Yes, we're like Itchy and Scratchy. All right, I'll make this an easy one. Which villain eventually kills captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds.
Note: If you don't know which show I'm talking about, you're not a true sci-fi fanatic. |

Re: Trivia: Sci-Fi
Heh.. both are correct.
,,Miester Reynolds? You died mister Reynolds. And that means I can't hurt you anymore.'' Great episode, awesome characters. Firefly always had the best villains. Safron, Niska.. Ah, good times. |

Re: Trivia: Sci-Fi
I agree, a truely superb show. Such a shame it was axed when you see some of the tat on TV, I doubt we;ll see it again
OK, I'm looking for a name of a spaceship, the first clue is: This spaceship is 6 miles (10 km) long, 5 miles (8 km) tall, and 4 miles (6 km) wide. Let me know if you need another clue.

Re: Trivia: Sci-Fi
Sounds like it could be The Lexx. Damn, I miss that show. It was so delightfully weird. Stanley Tweedle.. the name alone is enough to bring a smile to my face.

Re: Trivia: Sci-Fi
Ha ha, The Lexx I remember it well, good guess but no, it's not the Lexx.
Old Stanley Tweedle has to be the most pathetic 'hero' ever!!

Re: Trivia: Sci-Fi
All right. Then how about the runner-up for the title of 'most bizarre piece of junk floating between the stars', the Red Dwarf?
Edit: And yes, Stanley is definately the most pathetic character ever to travel between the stars. That's probably what gave him his charm. I have a regular group of people which whom I watch various sci-fi series and movies, and we've never been so divided over any show as we were with Lexx. Since the quality of the movies and episodes varied greatly. In the end, it was the sound of Xeff moaning 'Stanley Tweeeeeeedle' (as well as that psychotic robit) that got us through the movies. I was in favor of continuing with the series, but alas, I was outvoted. Last edited by Dreamer128; 11-14-2007 at 02:39 PM. |

Re: Trivia: Sci-Fi
Yes, it's the Jupiter Mining Corporation ship, Red Dwarf
Yes 'odd' is a good way to sum up Lexx, I quite liked it. the movies (first seaon) was different to the others, I must have missed quite a few epps, as I never quite got what was happenin gon Ice and Fire. And it was always shown very late on TV

Re: Trivia: Sci-Fi
Name two important differences between the Wing Commander Universe from the movies and the WCU from the games.
