Ho, you're done for now, DAM! Congrats... assuming she said yes. If she said no, you can have my place in the back next to the Everfull M&M Bowl

Thanks Cloudy. How I did it wasn't really romantic though.

We went to the car show in St.Ignace, and then to dinner somewhere,(my cousin is a part owner) and she told me whats been happening at her house, about how she's in the middle of everything, and her parents were going to do something or another with her, so I took her hands, looked in her eyes, and said, "Then maybe you should marry me."

Nice right?

She just called, wondering if we could go do something tonight, I gotta go pick her up. I was wanting to be lazy today. Maybe i'll just borrow my brothers Camero to go get her, I sold my truck and my firebird doesnt have enough gas to get me anywhere at the moment.

Hey, she said yes and you were going to ask anyway, right? If you weren't...then maybe you'll want an extra long engagement.

Everyone's got a different story about how they got engaged, DM! I'm betting some are far less romantic than yours so don't feel bad at all. It was very sweet!

Actually, the way I got my knee was very dramatic. I was doing a hockey drill on the ice, where I had to be going full speed and turn around the net. This is not a very complex drill, and the point of the drill wasn't even the dang turn. But as I started to turn, I caught a rut in the ice (ruts happen a lot when skating), but I twisted my knee, then slid into the boards at full speed. It was okay at first, but that night it had swelled to twice its normal size.

The silver lining is of course, all of the attention given to me by the females around me.

Congrats DA! you are a fool, of course, but you dont know that yet!

Now you get to do all the cool wedding planning things...well, she will probably do most of it (i mean, how much do you care if you have white lilies or blue gerbera's (sp?))

The engagement time is so awesome - you cannot help but be reminded of your love, and you spend lots of time wondering what the future will be like - and it always looks good with the woman of your dreams beside you!

@ True_Moose: Ouch! that really blows man, but hey almost worth it for 6 weeks off and lots of sympathy!
