I just started playing and myit's both good and awful, the voice casting is horrendous. "Yeah babe" (Groan), it's amazingly misogynistic (why do you haveto sleep with every redhead with big tits you find and haveto sit through those lame cutscenes) and why oh why can't you jump over minor obstacles?

But the combat is great and I sort of like the story so far... and the graphics are pretty good.

There are a couple of brunettes, like the Dryad, and you don't have to sleep with them.

The game has its bright sides, but I just cannot stand it anymore. It started all well and fine, but the constant running around and all the other little things made it increasingly less and less fun. Now I got into a game stopping glitch and uninstalled it (just entered hospital in act V).

I commend the developers for what they did with the genre, though. Choice and consequences of this scale really aren't that common in games, and I would like to see how the story ends and what happens if I make different choices. But it's too much work.

Okay...I have a question...how the bloody *#$& do you kill the Beast? I've tried swallow potion, I've tried oil on my blade, I've tried aard sign (I don't have the stun thing for it)...tried almost fifteen times, failed miserably every time...very, very annoying...any ideas?

I don't have blizzard potion, used that agains the salamander boss a bit back...

EDIT: Nvm...I got lucky about 10 tries later...

Finished! The twist at the ending is awesome! Now I'm looking forward to the sequel/expansion pack.

OMG! the english version of the first book of the original Witcher series is now available! I've started reading it and it's pretty good.
