errr sorry to remind you Gaggingrell but the mechanical arm is attached to YOUR comp hence I can slap you with it, it doesn't reach across the Atlantic to slap me

Melly, none of your wisecracks, else I'll be forced to clap that ass back to Breda

Too much diversity. AC/DC to Zepplin. Eminem to Nickelback. Hoobastank to The Offspring. Creed to Jet.

Old School. Ozzy as the front man for Black Sabbath.
Jimi Hendricks, Doors.

Blues. SRV, Eric Clapton

Southern Rock. Skynard, Molly Hatchet

The others. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Van Halen (DLR)

The Rolling Stones. Angie. Oh yea'll, I married her.

It's remarkable to see how many misconceptions exist concerning an entire genre; I can literally list dozens of hiphop acts who aren't pre-occupied with aforementioned topics, as well as plenty of rock-related acts who aren't exactly shy when it comes to violence and sex, lyrics-wise.
As for the drugs remark, well... *snort* Just don't kid yourself into thinking that's strictly a rap-issue.

True, but rap heard on the radio very often involves the above subjects. Actually, I'm not sure I have heard a rap song NOT including those!
