NPC xp

This is more from curiousity....

I decided to have a little fun by toasting Oakenmir after talking
to him, and his comments about Sarthius. Needless to say seeing
1.7mill xp for killing him, for each of my 6 chars, I'm wondering
how much xp the other npc's give.

Hi eddie -

There are probably several threads on how much you can get for offing NPCs. Many players have made use of the fact that the game doesn't make you stick to your oath. Try doing a search. If that doesn't work, I can haul out my Tome of Misinformation and tell you what it says.

Oakenmir is worth over 10 million xp, and the Sphynx is worth 200 something thousand XP IIRC.

Erathsmedor does not yield nearly as much experience as one could expect. The grand prize, however, goes to the Djinni of the Lamp who yields absolutely no experience points when killed.

Could it be because the producers didn't expect you'd be able to kill him since he leaves after you start to fight him?

I think so, but then at least they could have made him cheat-regenerating like Kerah.
